Join CrashPack

A Create-based modpack with airships, trains and a lot of machinery, on Alex's private server. Setup takes about ten minutes, once.

Google Drive will say the file is too large to scan for viruses. That's normal for big files; choose Download anyway. Don't unzip it.

  1. Get a launcher

    You need one. If you already have one of these, use it; otherwise get Prism.

    Sign in with your Microsoft account in the launcher.

  2. Import the zip

    • Prism / PolyMC: Add Instance → Import → choose the zip.
    • CurseForge app: Create Custom Profile → Import → choose the zip.

  3. Give it 6 GB of memory

    In the instance settings, set Java to 21 and maximum memory to 6144 MB. With less, the pack loads slowly or crashes.

  4. Join

    Multiplayer → Add Server, with this address:

    crashpack.duckdns.org

    The server sleeps when nobody is on. If it's asleep, you'll see "The server is booting up now. Wait about 2 minutes, then join again!" Wait, then join again.

    First time? Only whitelisted players can wake the server, so for your first visit join together with someone who's already whitelisted. Once you're in, ask an admin to add you to the whitelist so you can wake it yourself next time.
